As an opening, I will first explain what Google Forms are and why you need to use Google Forms.

What are Google Forms?

Google Forms is a service from Google that has the function of creating various online forms for free.

You can use Google Forms to create online forms, registration forms, quizzes, surveys, and the like. You can also use Google Forms to collect emails from visitors who want to subscribe to the newsletter. The emails you collect can be used as data to grow your business through the newsletters sent to them.

Google Form services are suitable for those of you who have an online business. This service is very useful to help with various kinds of work. You can conduct surveys about the quality of the products you offer, get feedback from your customers, and collect customer information through the online sites you use.

To make it more useful, you can combine Google Forms with WordPress.

Why Use Google Forms?

WordPress itself already has plugins that work similarly to Google Forms, such as Contact Form7 and WPForm . However, both of these plugins must store visitor data into a database.

Whereas the purpose of using features such as Contact Form7, and WPForm is to collect visitor data which is sometimes quite a lot. If the incoming data is only a little, it has not enough effect on the website server. However, if enough data is entered and stored in the database, in the long term it will definitely affect the performance of the website.

The solution to get a lot of visitor data and information that doesn't affect the server is to use Google Forms.

All data entered into the Google Form is not stored on the website server, but on the Google server (Google Drive). So you don't need to use a website database to store various information from visitors who enter through the form.

Data storage in Google Drive is more secure when something goes wrong with your website. In addition, you can easily use the data entered in Google Drive for other websites without having to retrieve it from the database.

Google Forms not only takes on tasks that should burden the server, you can access Google Forms from anywhere while having an interface that supports the use of mobile devices so you can access it from anywhere.
