Avenged Sevenfold Releases NFT, Invites Fans to Enter the Metaverse World

Avenged Sevenfold NFT

Avenged Sevenfold invites fans to participate in encouraging the development of the metaverse . In November 2021, this heavy metal band from the United States announced that it would release an NFT or non-fungible token project called the Deathbaths Club in December 2021.

This NFT token is offered on AvengedSevenfold.io at a price range between .06-.08 ETH (Ethereum). This collection is not only intended for the A7X fanbase, but for anyone who follows the rockstar group into web3.

The NFT project inspired by the band's logo with a skull with bat wings is a collection of 10,000 tokens with different properties and rarities. The owner was promised to receive a number of merchandise as prizes.

"We want to provide so much value that you are crazy about selling the token. We want you to be treated like royalty when you have tokens from our band," said Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M Shadows quoted from NFT Now, Tuesday (12/28/2021).

"We want fans to understand that we don't want to sell this collection to flippers (people who like to buy and sell quickly). We want our fans to get it first, educate them about it (NFT), take them to outer space," he exclaimed.

M Shadows then promised some of the advantages of his NFT project. For example, free concert tickets and meet and greets with Avenged Sevenfold, and airdrops as gift boxes to fans' homes as a start.

Those who are lucky will receive special gifts from each musician, such as playing golf with M Shadows to learning guitar with Synyster Gates. It can continue to be exchanged annually for as long as the band wishes to do so.

Long-term

However, Avenged Sevenfold is present in this NFT project for the long term. Even though NFT has experienced massive growth to reach USD 10.7 billion in the third quarter of 2021, and many celebrities and musicians are involved in it, Avenged Sevenfold is committed not to come for quick money and ready to fight.

M Shadows and Synyster Gates stated, they have kept some highly coveted NFTs in their wallets.

Among them, some CryptoPunks, Bored Apes, Cool Cars, Fidenzas, CrypToadz, Wicked Craniums, and many more.

Having invested so much in the NFT space, it's no surprise that M Shadows and Sun don't take this project lightly. They had spent six months properly forming the Deathbats Club.

Starting from the creative side of independent punk rock artist Phil Howell, to incentives to find ways for their less tech-savvy fans to join in.
